In the past I didn’t care much about the Microsoft certifications. However, as I am specialising more on Unified Communications, of course I’d like to have the proper certifications to validate my knowledge.
Of course I already have a bunch of Microsoft Certificates, but now I am accelerating it a bit. In the coming few months, I’m finishing off my MCITP-EA certification track, MOSS 2007, SharePoint 2010, and CRM 4.0. A lot of work, but after that, I will start with the UC Voice, Exchange 2010 and Lync 2010 exams. One of the main goals is to become Microsoft Certified Master for OCS/Lync 2010!
And as of yesterday, I can call myself certified on OCS 2007 R2 already; 70-638 is in the pocket :-). For the OCS MCM, in addition to finish above certifications, 70-664 and 70-665 (Lync 2010) will become available in 2011.
